The Search and Rescue Maxa Beam Package is tailored to meet the needs of SAR and Emergency Response Personnel. The 12,000,000 CandlePower Maxa Beam Searchlight offers 3500m of focusable, high intensity illumination as well as strobe and beacon modes for high visibility from the air. Each rechargeable LiFePO4 battery will power the searchlight for up to 150 minutes on low beam and recharges in just 100 minutes.
The included Amber Filter turns the beam yellow which reduces glare as the light bounces off particles in the air. This filter is ideal for operations where the light will be used in fog, smoke, or dust conditions.

When used with an IR filter, the Maxa Beam provides illumination that is invisible to the naked eye. IR illumination enhances the clarity and range of Night Vision devices and is especially useful for filling in shadows or shining through the window of a dark building.
Choose from three longpass filter options that block light energy below 715nm, 850nm, and 920nm. The 850nm Filter is typically the best filter choice for most applications because it offers a good balance of range and covertness.
Each filter attaches to the searchlight using a positive locking technique that requires no threading or tools, making it easy to install or remove a filter in seconds with only a quarter turn.
The Maxa Beam detects and identifies vessels at long ranges. The searchlight is frequently paired with acoustic hailing devices to deter targets and create increased standoff and safety zones.
The Maxa Beam Force Protection Package is designed for maritime security aboard U.S. Navy vessels and features a 12,000,000 CandlePower Maxa Beam Searchlight with visible and infrared capability. The Force Protection Package also includes three LiFePO4 batteries, two AC/DC chargers, a full searchlight maintenance kit, and IR and amber filters.
Rail-Mounted Searchlights can withstand the shock and recoil of a .50 caliber machine gun and are well suited for Remote Weapons Stations and other high-stress environments. All searchlight features including
strobe and beam width are remote-controlled.

Updating an old searchlight system? LiFePO4 Batteries are compatible with all Maxa Beam Searchlights and offer significant benefits over legacy NiCad, NiMH, and Li-Ion chemistries. Note that a LiFePO4 charger and power cord must also be purchased with the LiFePO4 battery. Older chargers and cords are not compatible.
